Overview:
The Democratic Alliance (DA) is seeking Quantitative Researchers to join their Research department in Cape Town. This role focuses on conducting survey interviews and accurately capturing responses to support the DA’s mission of building a future based on Freedom, Fairness, Opportunity, and Diversity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality survey interviews with residents who meet screening criteria.
- Accurately record and capture responses during surveys.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Data capturing experience is required.
- Experience in a call center environment (advantageous).
- Survey fieldwork experience (advantageous).
- Languages:
- Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
- Proficiency in at least one additional language: Afrikaans, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, Venda, Xhosa, Xitsonga, or Zulu.
- Skills:
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Abilities:
- Work well under pressure.
- Independently manage tasks.
- Apply sound judgment.
Knowledge and Commitment:
- Understanding and commitment to the principles, policies, and program of action of the Democratic Alliance.
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, if necessary.
