As part of the Boxer team, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring our products are efficiently processed and made ready for distribution to stores. We’re looking for motivated individuals to join various areas of our DC operations, such as Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift and Reach Truck Operation, Auditing, and Stock Combining.

Key Responsibilities
General Workers are responsible for a range of operational tasks across the distribution center, with specific responsibilities depending on their assigned role. Below is a breakdown of each available position and its duties:
1. General Worker
- Stock Maintenance: Responsible for ensuring overstocked, damaged, and short-dated items are promptly returned to the distribution center for reallocation or corrective action.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor items for quality and storage compliance, ensuring inventory standards are maintained.
2. Picker
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items based on picking slips, preparing orders for store distribution.
- Accuracy and Quality: Double-check items to ensure correct quantities and items, maintaining order accuracy.
3. Cycle Counter
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular counts to ensure stock quantities in the warehouse align with records.
- Data Recording: Record data accurately in the system to identify discrepancies and support inventory audits.
4. Forklift Driver
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, managing the movement and placement of pallets in the warehouse.
- Pallet Stacking: Organize pallets efficiently in storage areas, optimizing space and organization within the warehouse.
5. Reach Truck Driver
- High Rack Placement: Use reach trucks to store and retrieve pallets from high racks, maximizing storage space.
- Safe Handling: Follow safety protocols to ensure products and machinery are handled responsibly.
6. Auditor
- Inventory Audits: Count stock regularly, inspect for damages, and verify expiration dates to ensure product quality.
- Dispatch Accuracy: Confirm that all products are in good condition and ready for distribution to stores.
7. Combiner
- Order Preparation: Consolidate stock items on pallets for store orders, organizing and labeling items as needed.
- Shrink-Wrapping: Secure pallets with shrink-wrap to ensure they are safely prepared for transportation.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for a position as a General Worker at Boxer Superstores, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Educational Background
- Grade 12 or National Certificate is required for all applicants.
Experience
- Warehouse Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a similar warehouse or distribution center role (your specific responsibilities may be tailored based on your experience level).
- Forklift or Reach Truck License: Required for applicants applying for Forklift Driver or Reach Truck Driver positions.
Skills and Competencies
