Hollywoodbets is seeking 4 Surveillance Officers to join their team in Umhlanga. These roles involve supporting surveillance operations nationally to ensure safety, adherence to security protocols, and proactive incident management.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Monitoring:
- Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures across operations.
- Observe for any irregular activities, including cheating, theft, suspicious behaviors, or policy violations.
- Conduct additional checks for managerial oversight, such as monitoring cleanliness, employee adherence to cellphone policies, and proper opening and closing procedures.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation:
- Report all suspicious activities and violations to the Surveillance Manager and Operations Department, both verbally and in writing.
- Perform investigative tasks as directed by the National Surveillance Manager.
- Act as a support contact for emergency services, such as security response teams, fire rescue, and paramedics.
- Support and Training:
- Participate in emergency drills and provide direct support to field security officers during incidents.
Minimum Requirements
- Good Communication & Reporting Skills: Strong ability to articulate observations and document incidents accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Grade C Security Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Relevant experience in the security field.
- Completed degree in a related field.
Skills and Competencies
- Betting Knowledge: Familiarity with betting procedures and types.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to observe, analyze, organize, and resolve problems.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated business and financial management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Keen observation skills and a proactive approach to security.
