Company Overview:
Hyundai is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller Intern for our East Region. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory management within the automotive industry.

Main Purpose of the Job:

The successful candidate will provide essential controller support to accurately process vehicle stock transactions and ensure efficient stock management in alignment with established standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Controller Support: Assist in processing vehicle stock transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate directly with the Accountant and Dealer Principal.
    • Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers, sales managers, and suppliers.
  3. Stock Transaction Processing: Execute predefined work objectives to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure smooth stock operations.
  4. Utilize Stock Control Systems: Use stock control and location equipment to manage vehicle inventory effectively.
  5. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Stock Controller in the motor industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Autoline systems is advantageous.
  • Training in standard stock-keeping systems is desirable.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
  • People Management Skills: Well-developed skills for interacting effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Management Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
