Key Responsibilities
- Hoist Operation: Operate mobile hoisting equipment to lift, move, and position loads safely, avoiding damage to goods and equipment. Perform pre-operational checks and routine inspections to ensure functionality.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols, comply with NBCRFLI regulations, and report safety hazards or incidents.
- Load Management: Assess load weights and determine suitable lifting techniques. Secure loads for stability and keep records of loads lifted.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and minor repairs, report major mechanical issues, and ensure cleanliness of equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work with team members to coordinate lifting operations, communicate effectively with supervisors and clients, and assist in training new operators.
Who We Are Looking For
- Certification: Valid license to operate mobile hoisting equipment as per NBCRFLI regulations.
- Experience: Previous experience as a forklift driver.
- Training: Safety training and certifications in material handling and lifting operations.
- Skills: Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work long hours.
