General Manager: Supply Chain Management
The Organisation is seeking a General Manager: Supply Chain Management for its Chief Financial Officer’s Division. The position is based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria, and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Location:
Groenkloof National Park (Head Office), Pretoria
Requirements:
- Professional Membership: Supply Chain Management membership, preferably CIPS.
- Qualifications:
- Relevant Post-graduate degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management, with specialization in public sector procurement.
- Experience:
- 7 to 9 years of experience as a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Management.
- Strong knowledge of SCM best practices and legislation.
- Experience in contract management.
- Understanding of legislative interpretation and change management.
- Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and networking abilities.
- Knowledge of PPPFA, BBBEE, PFMA, Tourism Charter, and Corporate Governance.
- Leadership, financial management, and analytical skills.
- Business communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction of SCM to the Board, Managing Executives, and departments.
- Develop and implement SCM strategy, policies, processes, and systems.
- Lead legislative and best practices initiatives, focusing on transformation within SCM.
- Ensure quality assurance of key submissions, regulatory reports, and bid specifications.
- Monitor SCM planning and key performance indicators.
- Manage legislative and stakeholder reporting related to SCM.
- Advise on drafting and negotiating service contracts.
- Provide training on SCM processes.
- Develop and monitor SLA and OLA compliance.
- Manage enterprise-wide SCM risks.
- Oversee performance and development of SCM staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (BBBEE, PFMA, PPPFA, etc.).
Salary:
R1,042,469.33 – R1,375,810.10
