Description:
The First Officer will be responsible for supporting the Captain in ensuring the safety of flight operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the flight path and aircraft systems.
- Conducting pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures.
- Assisting the Captain with both operational and administrative duties.
- Navigating and operating the aircraft while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Communicating with internal teams, external service providers, and passengers.
- Completing accurate and legal documentation.
- Upholding excellent customer service and crew standards.
- In the event of the Captain’s incapacitation, the First Officer will assume command.
Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Qualifications:
- SACAA Commercial License (Essential).
- SACAA ATPL (Preferred).
- SACAA Class 1 Medical (Essential).
- Experience:
- Type rated on Boeing (Advantageous).
- Minimum of 1500 flight hours, including 500 hours Multi-Turbine time (Essential).
- Experience on Commercial Jets over 20 Tons and Multi-Crew experience (Advantageous).
- Other Requirements:
- No criminal record.
- Willing to sign training bonds and undergo drug and alcohol testing.
- Valid RSA Driver’s License and Passport.
- Willingness to work irregular hours.
