Data Analyst and System Integrations Officer
The Organisation is seeking a Data Analyst and System Integrations Officer in the Chief Financial Officer’s Division. The position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
Location:
Groenkloof National Park (Head Office), Pretoria
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BSc, BCom: IT or Accounting).
- Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL (building SQL tables and writing SQL queries).
- Experience with system integrations and ETL tools/processes.
- Knowledge of financial policies.
- Skills:
- Leadership, management, and project management skills.
- Advanced Excel and strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and statistical techniques.
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate data from different systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Develop and maintain data models and algorithms to support business objectives, including predictive modelling and forecasting.
- Perform system maintenance tasks (password resets, error corrections, data validation checks).
- Collect, clean, and analyse data to identify trends and insights that support strategic goals.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Salary:
R282,919.52 – R462,106.49
