Job Purpose:
Bidvest International Logistics is offering an opportunity for unemployed youth to join our YES (Youth Employment Services) Programme for 2024/2025. This initiative, in partnership with the government, aims to reduce youth unemployment while providing valuable skills and work experience in the logistics industry.

Established in 1910, we specialize in optimizing supply chains and offer comprehensive logistics services, including air, sea, and road transport, warehousing, and customs brokerage.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completed Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Aged between 18 and 34.
- Aligned with the Employment Equity (EE) requirements of the Programme.
- Available to work full-time for 12 months.
- Strong interest in the Transport and Logistics industry.
- Must be unemployed and not enrolled in any academic studies for 2025.
- Must not have previously participated in the YES Programme with any company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commit to a 12-month YES Programme, which includes 25 modules of theoretical and practical components.
- Complete all modules on the YES Platform and submit a portfolio of evidence upon completion.
Skills & Competencies:
- Self-reliant and determined.
- Accountable and responsible for self-management.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Punctual and proficient in English.
