Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all staff and customers, strictly adhering to security procedures and policies. This role requires a professional who can maintain a calm demeanor while dealing with challenging situations and can provide an efficient security service.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Security qualification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the retail industry.
• Registered with SIRA/SOB with a Grade C registration.
• Own reliable transport.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Must be contactable at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact courteously with customers and employees while enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Evaluate existing security systems and procedures, recommending improvements as needed.
• Liaise with senior management, external security organizations, and SAP services.
• Perform all security duties according to company policies and procedures.
• Follow correct emergency procedures and ensure adherence to security measures by employees and customers.
• Identify security risks, take appropriate action, and report to relevant personnel.
• Safeguard company assets by being consistently vigilant and taking corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage challenging customers and routine work, including standing for long hours.
• Assist with alarm call-outs if necessary.
