Job Description:

This role offers the opportunity to manage a Branch, drive growth, and ensure outstanding service delivery while upholding company values. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Branch Growth:
    • Achieve targets in line with Branch budgets.
    • Engage with guests to educate them on Branch products.
    • Ensure betting boards, memos, and results are updated promptly.
    • Be knowledgeable of game rules, odds, and pay-outs.
  2. Cash Administration:
    • Manage Branch cash processes, minimize risks, and ensure FICA compliance.
    • Oversee daily banking schedules and ensure proper float distribution and reconciliation.
    • Manage lost ticket claims and recovery processes.
  3. Branch Reporting:
    • Provide daily operational updates through newsflashes.
    • Manage Branch stock control and conduct weekly stock takes.
  4. Security Management:
    • Ensure adherence to security protocols when opening, closing, and banking.
    • Monitor security equipment and manage overall security aspects of the Branch.
  5. Branch Appearance:
    • Maintain Hollywood standards of cleanliness and functionality.
    • Address any equipment issues promptly and ensure compliance with all operational procedures.
  6. Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to internal control policies and Gambling Board requirements.
    • Maintain a registered FICA officer on-site and compliance with company policies.
  7. Communication:
    • Disseminate key business updates and campaigns to team members.
    • Provide timely feedback to support office communications.
  8. People Management:
    • Manage staff rosters, attendance, and behavior in coordination with management.
    • Submit recruitment documents and manage team training needs.
  9. Guest Service:
    • Promote excellent guest service and address complaints proactively.
    • Foster a guest-centric culture with a focus on friendly and courteous service.
  10. Values:
    • Promote and exemplify Hollywoodbets values.
    • Work closely with management to suggest improvements and enhance guest experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the Gaming or Betting industry is advantageous.
  • Relevant Diploma, Degree, or NQF 4 Learnership preferred.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
