Position Overview:

As a Call Centre Agent (Customer Service Representative), you will be the face and voice of our brand, serving as the first point of contact for customers. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about resolving customer issues, answering inquiries, and delivering exceptional service with a caring and considerate approach. Your commitment will help make every customer interaction positive and memorable.

Client/Customer Experience:

  • Communicate professionally and warmly, whether via phone or email, maintaining impeccable grammar and spelling.
  • Provide solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries to provide timely and relevant feedback.
  • Stay updated on products, systems, processes, and policies to provide accurate information.

Operational Excellence:

  • Adhere to your schedule, including start times, breaks, and all assigned activities.
  • Be available to manage customer interactions as rostered, including calls and emails.
  • Ensure your safety and that of others in the workplace.
  • Report any issues to management, including equipment malfunctions.
  • Accurately capture and record all customer details and data.
  • Follow all Call Centre Policies, Procedures, Codes of Conduct, and legislative requirements.
  • Resolve customer queries promptly and efficiently.
  • In a sales environment, strive to exceed sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements:

  • Matric/NQF equivalent.
  • 6 months of experience in a Contact Centre or customer service role.
  • Proficient in navigating PC and Windows applications, with knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong numeracy skills, including basic arithmetic and percentage calculations.
  • Fluency in English and another official South African language (preferably Afrikaans, isiZulu, or seSotho).
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts.
  • General understanding of the National Credit Act (NCA).
  • A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
