Job Description:

As a Butchery Merchandiser, your main responsibility is to ensure that products are well-displayed, attractive, and of good quality. You’ll organize shelves, check the freshness of products, and assist customers. This role also involves working closely with various teams, including marketing and sales, to enhance store presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Count, unpack, and document stock. Monitor stock levels and keep accurate records of all items used.
  • Product Display: Organize and display products attractively, ensuring that all items are properly placed and old or damaged products are removed.
  • Promotional Displays: Change displays to match stock availability or promotional activities, using creative ideas to grab customer attention.
  • Store Presentation: Use colors, lights, props, and decorations to enhance the appearance of displays, and create special presentations for different seasons or promotions.
  • Quality Control: Check the quality of products, report damages, and ensure that fresh items are always stocked and displayed.
  • Customer Interaction: Advise customers on product use, handle complaints, and provide feedback on queries and requests.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales teams to implement display plans and promotions effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: Matric.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Merchandiser.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
  • Proximity: Must live within 15km of the job location.
  • Record: Clear criminal record.
