SAB is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shift operations, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

  • Morning Inventory Count: Lead and perform physical inventory counts each morning.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify and address the causes of inventory variances using problem-solving tools to enhance Inventory Accuracy KPI.
  • Cost Reduction: Utilize problem-solving techniques to minimize Supply Chain Overheads.
  • Warehouse Management Tools: Create and manage tools to ensure adherence to FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
  • Inventory Tracking: Monitor and trend Inventory Accuracy, ensuring real-time updates in the SAP system.

2. Warehouse Operations:

  • Layout Adherence: Ensure compliance with warehouse layout standards for various zones (Empties, Refusal, Order Picking, Repack, Finished Goods) and improve Quality Standards.
  • Quality Standards: Manage warehouse cleanliness, pest control, and product exposure, ensuring 75% Compliance to Global Warehouse GOP.
  • Inventory System: Implement and maintain a Location-Based Inventory System for accurate product identification and adherence to blocking standards for non-conforming inventory.
  • Productivity and Repacking: Track repacking operations to conform to quality standards and enhance productivity.

3. Process and Performance Management:

  • Standardized Processes: Adhere to and manage standardized picking processes, ensuring safe and productive operations.
  • Productivity Metrics: Monitor and improve warehouse productivity and capacity with a focus on 75% Compliance to Warehouse Labour Productivity GOP.
  • SOP Development: Support the development and validation of SOPs, ensuring understanding and adherence by all warehouse employees.
  • Performance Tracking: Use tools like 5 WHY, Abnormality Reports, and PDCA to develop action plans and improve KPIs and PIs.

4. Safety and Compliance:

  • Safe Operations: Maintain a safe warehouse environment, driving awareness and compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Productivity Improvement: Track and measure performance indicators such as TCT (Total Cycle Time) and bay time utilization, implementing action plans to enhance productivity.

Profile & Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:
    • 3-year relevant diploma/degree.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and handheld devices.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong achievement orientation and coaching capability.
