Job Description

A global logistics solutions company is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Bank and Tax Administrator to join their team on a part-time, project-based basis. This role requires spending 3 mornings per week in the office for approximately 1-2 months, with the ideal candidate being available to work between 2 and 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Complete all documents: Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all required KYC (Know Your Customer) documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with internal teams to gather and organise all necessary supporting documents for KYC compliance.
  • Liaise with banks/tax consultants: Establish and maintain effective communication with banks and tax consultants to facilitate the KYC process efficiently.
  • Project management: Take ownership of the KYC process, ensuring that all tasks and deadlines are met as per the project’s requirements.
  • Obtain quotes from local partners: Solicit competitive quotes from local tax practitioners and partners as needed for the project.
  • Open Opex bank accounts: Facilitate the opening of Opex bank accounts in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Update signatories: Manage the process of updating signatories on existing bank accounts as required.
  • Close unwanted accounts: Identify and close any unwanted or unnecessary bank accounts.
  • Update bank KYC: Keep bank KYC information up-to-date and accurate throughout the project.
 

Requirements

  • Matric.
  • Tax Practice Administration Experience: Prior experience in tax practice administration is highly desirable.
  • CIPC/Company Secretarial Administration Experience: Knowledge of CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) and company secretarial administration is a plus.
  • Banking Administration Experience: Experience in banking administration, particularly related to KYC processes, is preferred.
  • Professional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of seniority, including the capacity to communicate effectively with directors via email.
