Finance Clerk Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. The role is responsible for card reconciliations, filing and general processing
  2. Required to reconcile credit card transactions and ensure supporting documentation is received
  3. Daily revenue reconciliations for all store POS pay types
  4. Review of stores daily reports and raising/resolving all queries
  5. Input cash up revenue figures onto reconciliation spreadsheet
  6. Verify cash drops on the online portal
  7. Verify cash deposited in the bank account Finance Clerk
  8. Reconcile card transaction revenue with amounts received in the bank account
  9. Input revenue amounts and reconcile amounts received from Mr D, Uber Eats, Yumbi, voucher, account, cheque and the Pedros app
  10. Raise any variance queries with store and operations management
  11. Resolve all variances Finance Clerk
  12. Escalate variances per the SOP when required
  13. Review stores daily reports and raise queries
  14. Ensure original cash up documentation is received weekly

REQUIREMENTS: Finance Clerk

  1. Matric
  2. Either completed a tertiary accounting or finance qualification or in their final year of completion (provided this is part time online studies)
  3. Experienced in excel
